Another rad collaboration! The Railcar X Rad Bill Allen #2 are now live to order. The first collaboration sold out in just a couple of days. If you missed out on that one, now is your time to jump on #2. This pair is inspired by the cult classic RAD 1986 BMX movie.

Last year, we had the opportunity to collaborate with Bill Allen, the actor who played Cru Jones in the RAD film. Bill Allen's design consist of staying inspired by the movie featuring a 12 ounce indigo with a natural back weft, that we thought, the indigo shade looked classic to the 80s, 90s era. The denim is a special selvedge denim that consist of 68% cotton, 31% recycled fibers, and 1% elastin. When designing the #2 we opt to use recycled denim because, maybe, possibly, some of those fibers came from the 80s and 90s. The elastin was also perfect, giving the them denim a little bit of stretch that makes this pair comfortable for any activity you do in them. We recommend sizing up one size from your normal jeans size to anticipate shrinkage after a wash and dry. In the movie, Bill Allen wore a red handkerchief on his lower leg while riding at the lumber yard, so we chose to use red handkerchief fabric to line the interior pocket bag and waistband. The stitch colors was inspired by a rad color palette including red, orange, and yellow. The jeans are finished with a Railcar x Rad Bill Allen vegetable-tanned leather patch that will develop a rich patina over time.

Sizing And Shrinkage Info:
We recommend sizing up one size from your normal jeans size to anticipate shrinkage. After performing a shrink test on this denim, the results has some shrinkage after a wash and dry. The waistband will shrink .5 inch laying flat and the length will shrink 2 inches. When you hem to your custom length, anticipate that the length will shrink 2 inches.

Delivery:
Handcrafted when ordered and should take 3-4 weeks to ship once ordered. Orders will be handmade in the order received.

The Denim Fabric:
Medium shade indigo red line selvedge 68% cotton, 31% recycled fibers, and 1% Elastin for that gives comfort stretch. The selvedge denim will thicken slightly and darken to an amazing indigo after a wash and dry.
