The Railcar Black Lot 001 is unisex straight leg jean using a deadstock 12 ounce Cone Mills White Oak red line selvedge. Inspired by classic 1937-1941 design and fitment, our interpretation of the past was redesigned with exclusive Railcar details. This exceptional design features a distinctive straight leg fitment, meticulously crafted using a vintage Union Special Bull Dog overlock and Singer single needle inseam. The front showcases exquisite hand-stitched button fly with intentionally irregular stitch lines that add character. The rear has been thoughtfully designed with heritage proportions and adorned with Railcar's signature articulate stitching on the back pockets. The waistband boasts unique details, including carefully tucked belt loops in the single-piece construction, which is precisely attached with a single needle machine. The selvedge is present at the outseam and exposed at the top of the coin pocket. The waist could be worn with a belt using the tucked belt loops or tighten with the waistband authentic 2 prong hardware cinch buckle back.

Our jeans are made with deadstock collectible fabrics that are increasingly difficult to source. Sizing And Shrinkage Info:
After performing an in-house shrink test on this fabric by machine wash cold and hang dry, the results are normal denim shrinkage. We recommend sizing this to your normal size for your regular fit or sizing up one and using a belt or tightening the waistband cinch to have more of a oversized loose look. See size chart. Fit models are sized up one from their normally bought Railcar size.
Length:
These jeans come in 34 inch length with a single needle stitch to keep true to the vintage manufacturing style. We can hem them to your desired length with a single needle stitch or chain stitch, if your prefer, if requested for free. You could input your desired length and style of stitch in the notes when checking out. Custom lengths will make it final sale.
