Chore Coat Candiani Mills Denim

The Railcar Chore Coat is a perfect year round garment. The coats are cut and sewn in the Railcar workshop in California. This variation was made with a 10 ounce light weight denim from the Italian Candiani Mills. The denim has a some comfort stretch with great recovery. It's dark indigo stitched with white thread, giving it a classic look that will get even better with age. They're trimmed with American woven labels, thread and hardware. The coat features a classic Americana style with Railcar's signature modern fit and finish. Flat felled seam construction for durability and shell edge interior stitching complete the details.

After the coats first wash and dry it will shrink 1 inch smaller chest to chest and will stretch back out again after normal wear. We recommend sizing to your normal size for a fitted snug fit. If you want to wear this loose, size up one. Length will not shrink. Email if you need help.

The Denim Fabric:
Deadstock 12 ounce double black slub yarn red line selvedge medium denim. 

Sizing And Shrinkage Info:
After performing an in-house shrink test on this fabric, the results does have some shrinkage after cold wash and dry. We recommend sizing to your normally bought size if you want to size snug or plan not to machine wash and dry. We recommend sizing up one size if you want a looser fit to anticipate the chest to chest shrinkage after a wash and dry.

Unlike other brands, we don't manufacture unsold items, which means you are not covering the cost of excess inventory. Order with confidence. Even though these are limited and made when ordered, you are still able to return or exchange them if they don't work out for you. If there isn't fabric to do an exchange, we will fully refund you or you could use it as a credit for something else.
