The new X131 is built specifically for the warmer months, this summer 2026 limited release is made from a 12.5 ounce red line selvedge raw denim that strikes the perfect balance between lightweight comfort and everyday durability. The classic medium blue indigo shade offers a timeless look from day one while promising high contrast fades with regular wear.
What makes this denim stand apart is its incredible neppy texture. The surface is filled with visible natural nep, giving each pair a rich, vintage character that continues to develop as the denim breaks in. It has the visual depth of old workwear fabrics while remaining soft enough to break in quickly and comfortably.
As with every Railcar jean, this denim is left completely raw and unwashed. That means every crease, fade, and bit of character will be created by you, making each pair uniquely your own over time.
Each pair is handcrafted to order in the Railcar fit of your choice with an expected delivery time of approximately 2–3 weeks.
This fabric has been reserved exclusively for Summer 2026. Once the season ends or once the fabric is gone. This denim will be permanently retired.

12.5 Ounce Light/Medium Weight Neppy Selvedge:
Perfect for the upcoming warmer months, this denim offers an ideal weight and construction for effortless everyday wear. It breaks in quickly, developing beautiful character with every wear. The surface features a classic medium blue indigo shade highlighted by a pronounced neppy texture that gives the fabric exceptional depth and personality.
The Switcher Fit:
Cut with a full leg from the hip through the hem, the Switcher offers a straight, unrestricted profile without taper or gimmicks. This fit is inspired by early railroad and factory trousers, designed for long days, heavy use, and comfort that only improves with wear. The Switcher has a timeless 10" to 11" bottom opening depending on the size that is a perfect full leg, wide leg without being a trendy enormous leg fitment.
Delivery:
We have a limited quantity of this fabric on hand. Orders will be cut and sewn immediately, in the order they are received. Please allow a short 2-3 week delivery time after your order is placed.
Sizing And Shrinkage Info:
After performing an in-house shrink test on this fabric, the results has minimal shrinkage. We recommend sizing to your normally bought size. Don't size up nor down.
Free Chain Stitch Hem:
Your Railcar comes with free chain stitch hemming to your desired length. If this is your first Railcar order, we highly recommend not requesting a custom hem on your jeans because your jeans will not qualify them to be exchanged or returned. If you know your Railcar size, you could request a hem by making a note in the note section when checking out or by email. All customized hemmed jeans are final sale.
Ordering:
Shop with confidence. The purchase is not sales final; should a return or exchange be necessary, regular Railcar return policies will apply.
Oversell Note:
If for some reason we run out of fabric, the later orders will be canceled and fully refunded. You will be notified as soon as it is known. Orders will be made in the order in received.
