Description:
The Railcar Torker is built off our Railcar Eliminator body, with a few added details including Railcar style droop shoulder front yokes and a double chest pocket with a single flap design.

This version uses a single roll of medium-weight indigo denim shirting from Orta Mills, featuring a discharged geometric pattern. Rather than printing the design onto the surface, the geometric lines are created by removing the indigo dye from the fabric. This process leaves the pattern with no raised or printed feel, allowing the fabric to retain its natural texture and hand.

This shirt features genuine vintage mother-of-pearl buttons dating from the 1800s through the 1940s, selected from owner Steven Dang’s personal button collection.

No two buttons are exactly alike. Each shirt features its own unique assortment of two-hole mother-of-pearl buttons, including cat-eye styles and other distinctive period designs. Natural variations in shape, color, texture, and detail give every shirt its own individual character.

These historic buttons add another special element to an already unique piece—combining materials from the past with our own in-house, handmade construction.

After measuring the roll, there’s only enough fabric to make 9 shirts total. That’s it! 

Delivery:
These shirts are made when ordered and will take 3-4 weeks from order to ship. Orders will be made in the order received. 

Oversell Note:
If for some reason we run out of fabric, the later orders will be canceled and fully refunded. You will be notified as soon as it is known. Orders will be made in the order in received. 

The Fabric:
Deadstock Orta Mills medium weight denim shirting. Natural color weft, indigo top surface with discharged geometric print.

Sizing And Shrinkage Info:
After performing an in-house shrink test on this fabric by machine wash cold and machine dry. The chest measurement only shrank .25 arm pit to arm pit. (Example: Pre-wash and dry was 20 inches and post was 19.75 inches.) The body length and arm length shrank 1 inch.

Our shirt sizing fits true to size fitted. We recommend sizing to your normal size for a fitted fitment. If you like to wear your shirts looser or baggy, size up.
