The Railcar Type 2 X124 raw denim are made out of Railcar's heavy 16 ounce slub indigo selvedge denim fabric. This is an amazing, hard to find, fabric has tons of slubby yarn texture and will develop unique, personalized aging as you wear it. We combined a unique fabric not easily found and Railcar in-house unmatched in-house manufacturing to craft a jacket you could enjoy for decades.
The slub indigo X124 raw denim selvedge fabric have the same hand made details that are performed in our exclusive in-house factory. Our version has a few details to improve the jacket for todays modern styling. Hand pockets were added for comfort, huge interior shelled edge pockets for added storage to name a couple. Fit and quality finish is on point to exceed todays standards. The jackets are design and handmade manufactured in-house at the Railcar factory in El Monte, California in small batches.
Slub Denim:
Slub denim is woven with uneven, thicker yarns that create a unique, textured look. The result is a fabric with visible highs and lows, giving the jeans a natural, irregular character that develops even more personality as they’re worn and faded.
Delivery:
Handcrafted when ordered and should take 3 weeks to ship once ordered. These are made in the order in the orders received.
The Denim Fabric:
Heavy 16 ounce slub indigo dark indigo denim with a noticeable slubby texture on the top surface. The fabric's unique character will become increasingly apparent as you break in these jeans.
Sizing And Shrinkage Info:
After performing an in-house shrink test on this fabric, the results has minimal shrinkage. We recommend sizing to your normally bought size. Don't size up nor down.
