Professional darning repair for your physical pair of denim jeans, done right here at our California factory. Send us your jeans and we'll repair the damaged areas of the existing garment using traditional darning techniques, then return the same pair of repaired jeans back to you.
We can repair just about any brand of denim jeans using our vintage Singer darning machine. Our darning process rebuilds and reinforces damaged denim without the need for an undesirable denim patch sewn over the outside of your jeans. This type of repair can add years of life to a well-worn pair while blending the repaired area naturally into the surrounding denim.
When necessary, we install a thin reinforcement fabric behind the damaged area before darning. This backing helps strengthen the original denim and provides additional support for the repair while remaining discreet inside the garment.
Our in-house team has almost 20 years of experience manufacturing, repairing, and mending denim garments for customers around the world.
Please note that we cannot remove previous patches, existing darning repairs, or glued areas. If your jeans have a very large hole or an area where the original denim fabric is completely missing, please contact us before sending the garment so we can confirm that the damage is repairable.
Jeans containing a high percentage of stretch material may also not be suitable for darning. The repaired area becomes more rigid than the surrounding stretch fabric and, in some cases, can place additional stress on the denim around the repair.
Turnaround Time:
Our typical turnaround time for denim darning is approximately 6–8 weeks from the date your physical pair of jeans is received and checked into our California factory.
Extreme Repairs:
For extreme crotch blowouts or extensive denim damage, additional charges may apply due to the amount of rebuilding and darning required.
If you're unsure whether the damage to your jeans would be considered extreme, please contact us before mailing your garment. If we determine that additional repair work is necessary after physically inspecting your jeans, we'll contact you before proceeding with any additional charges.
Our Darning Process:
-
First, we'll receive and inspect your physical pair of jeans to determine the condition of the damaged denim.
-
When necessary, we'll install a thin reinforcement fabric behind the damaged area to strengthen the original denim before darning. The backing is lightweight and discreet and helps the completed repair last longer.
-
We'll select darning thread colors that blend naturally with the existing denim and will continue to look good as your jeans age.
-
The damaged denim is then carefully darned and reinforced using our commercial sewing equipment.
-
Once the repair is complete, we'll trim the remaining threads and perform a final inspection.
-
The same repaired pair of jeans will then be packaged and shipped back to you.

-
We recommend using a shipping method that includes a tracking number so you can confirm delivery of your jeans to our factory.
