New Railcar Type 1 In Selvedge Denim

We're excited to introduce our new Type 1 design. After releasing the Railcar version of the Type 2, we received numerous requests for a Type 1, so we decided to create our own take on it. Our version is based on the 1905 heritage design, but with some Railcar-inspired updates. Instead of the original square pocket, we went with a single, mid-chest acorn shape to make it distinctly different from the Railcar Type 2.

We added a clean, simple waist cinch strap inspired by the original 1905 design. Staying true to the original inspiration, we incorporated our signature Railcar touches - like hand warmer pockets, large interior storage pockets, and a fit and finish that matches today's styling.

We make these jackets to order, as they come in. We've got just 3 rolls of that incredible 13.25 ounce white-lined dark indigo denim - enough to sew up around 40 of 'em.
